Mr. A P. L. De Villiers was admitted as an attorney during 1981 and later as a conveyancer. He started practising for his own account in association with Mr. O.A. de Meyer during 1984. During 1994 they merged with the firm of the late Mr Shapiro and formed the firm, Shapiro de Meyer Inc. During this time and up till February 1995, Mr. de Villiers headed the conveyancing department of Shapiro de Meyer Inc. He thereafter left Shapiro de Meyer to form his own conveyancing practise, Abrie de Villiers Attorneys. Mr. De Villiers heads our civil litigation department and his fields of expertise include debt collections and ejectment application of truant lessee and unlawful occupiers of fixed property, collections of bad debt, contract drafting and matters relating thereto, divorce and family law matters as well as all magistrates and High Court work.
